This SSAATTBB a cappella setting of “All Praise to Thee” brings innovative textures and harmonic sonorities to the much-loved tune “Tallis Canon”. An opening statement of the tune is followed by SATB parts employing traditional canonic treatment, which then expands to 8 parts with sustained chords providing a new textural backdrop for the re-appearance of the hymn tune in augmented form.
