2-Part
Accompaniment CD
An interesting take on a section of text from the Carmina Burana. This setting uses modal harmonies, a haunting melodic line, and transfixing percussion to express the mysterious nature of the text.

Covered by a multitude of artists since it was first recorded, this timeless hit is re-imagined for this arrangement as a slower, bluesy ballad. As part of the new “Concert-Pop” series, this will really come alive with a larger choir capable of divisi in all parts.

Now in SSAA and TTBB voicings, Meredith Willson's famous song is wonderfully arranged for choirs with a terrific piano accompaniment as well as orchestral parts. The introduction is captivating and paints the magic of the holidays while the heart of the song ends with a big and broad finish.

A rollicking story about sailors, lost at sea, encountering the Kraken. This work is a rewarding challenge for an advanced TTB choir.

Arranged for a cappella tenor-bass voices, this traditional sea shanty uses a baritone soloist to tell the woes of being on a ship and a choral response telling the sailor to “leave her.” Perfect for high school and community lower-voice choirs.

Song for the Mira was composed by Canadian singer/songwriter Allister MacGillivray and used in the film Marion Bridge. It has been recorded numerous times and in different languages. In 2018, it was inducted into The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. Stuart Calvart’s choral setting has become a modern concert classic.
Marion Bridge is a Canadian rural community in Nova Scotia's Cape Breton Regional Municipality. The community is named for the eponymous bridge that crosses the Mira River. The song sings of the river and its people: “Out on the Mira, the people are kind. And, if you come broken, they’ll see that you mend. I wish I was with them again.” Surprisingly easy to learn and sing, and with an unusually nice oboe (or flute) obbligato, this is a fine choice for concert or contest.

“Gloria in excelsis Deo, et in terra pax,” – this original weaves in fragments of carols in an expressive and accessible work for men's or treble voices. With a reflective text and a warm C instrument obbligato, this is a wonderful selection for school and community groups in their Christmas programming.

From the King's Singers and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra “Music of the Beatles” album, here's a fun and swinging arrangement of the Lennon and McCartney classic. Featuring inventive jazz band-style vocal accompaniments throughout, everyone gets their turn singing the clever lyrics of the melody. Fun from start to finish.
