The piece is great for teaching the time signature 3/4 and helping students recognize the difference between the minor-key verse and the major-key chorus. Also available for TT Choir (BL1174).

Home

Home captures the emotional journey of moving to a new place, navigating uncertainty, and building a sense of belonging through relationships. Beginning with “Unfamiliar faces greeted” and asking, “Will this be home in time?”, the song reflects the transition from unfamiliarity to comfort. A repeating section invites creativity, allowing students to add spoken dialogues—introductions and first encounters—mirroring real-life connections and personalizing the performance. This interactive element highlights the song’s theme of community and finding “home” in those around us.
