Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas SATB a cappella

Molly Ijames has created a rich and satisfying setting of a Christmas standard. This a cappella setting is available in several voicings making it accessible to a wide variety of groups. Suitable for church, school, and community choir use.

For the Want of a Horseshoe Nail

“For the want of a nail the shoe was lost … the horse was lost … the rider was lost … the battle was lost … the kingdom was lost, and all for the want of a horseshoe nail.” Jean Berger set a clever Benjamin Franklin text in this vigorous and musically satisfying work. Beginning in unison, successive verses display a variety of choral textures that capture the rich sonorities of lower voices.

Love Will Find Out the Way

“Over the mountains and over the waves, under the fountains and under the graves; 'neath floods that are deepest which Neptune obey, o'er rocks that are steepest, love will find out the way.” Written to build confidence in a developing ensemble, the scoring is mostly unison and two-part throughout, with occasional episodes of three-part writing. The bold compound-duple melody is one that your mens group will immediately enjoy.

What Do the Bells Say?

Answering the titular question, here the bells laud “Peace on the earth – good-will to men.” This is an impressive piece for tenor-bass singers. Works well accompanied by piano or orchestra. With beautiful harmonic moments, accessibility, and some divisi, this composition is sure to be of value to you, your group, and your audiences.

Jerusalem (Meditation for Peace)

Kenneth Lampl's Jerusalem is a gorgeous meditation on peace for mixed choir. One can hear the desperation in the music's plea for this ideal. Although the work is scored with divisi and in the Hebrew language, nice vocal writing makes the work singable for many levels.

Music in the Air

TTBB

Arranged for the 2018 Georgia All-State Men's Chorus, Ryan Murphy's arrangement of Music in the Air brings the song to an exciting new life. This setting includes a driving piano accompaniment and singable vocal parts, making this an achievable work for your choir with great impact. Andrew Crane Choral Series.

Battle Cry Of Freedom

TTB/TBB

Now available in an updated edition, the classic “Battle Cry of Freedom” is an inspiring, uplifting work for any patriotic occasion. Complete with a signature John Ness Beck ending, this piece offers optional parts for brass and percussion and makes for a thrilling concert closer. (The sample recording for this piece is the SATB voicing.)
