An arrangement of great richness of an American folksong for upper voices, flute, oboe, and piano
Technically accessible to school and amateur choirs, the instrumental parts add tremendous atmosphere, while remaining well within the range of younger players.
Versions for SATB and TTBB are also available.

Written in 2004, Jackson harks back to the time of the Eton Choirbook with this expansive polyphonic Salve Regina, with its intricate and delicate interspersions in English decorating the celebrated Latin hymn in praise of Mary. He sets the words thoughtfully with climaxes and resolutions, contemplative passages, and grandiose fanfare-like moments.
For SSAATTBB anaccompanied.

Originally recorded separately by both Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli, the English and Italian versions were later combined to create this well-known duet. A beautiful, yet supportive, Mark Hayes' accompaniment makes this new arrangement soar.

Song for the Mira was composed by Canadian singer/songwriter Allister MacGillivray and used in the film Marion Bridge. It has been recorded numerous times and in different languages. In 2018, it was inducted into The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. Stuart Calvart’s choral setting has become a modern concert classic.
Marion Bridge is a Canadian rural community in Nova Scotia's Cape Breton Regional Municipality. The community is named for the eponymous bridge that crosses the Mira River. The song sings of the river and its people: “Out on the Mira, the people are kind. And, if you come broken, they’ll see that you mend. I wish I was with them again.” Surprisingly easy to learn and sing, and with an unusually nice oboe (or flute) obbligato, this is a fine choice for concert or contest.
