TTBB
A dynamic arrangement of the classic carol set for TTBB (also SSAA and SATB) chorus with an exciting four-hand piano and optional violin and percussion accompaniment. This setting begins with delicate angel voices as though from the edge of heaven, building to a majestic, glorious finish, all accompanied by the recurring suggestion of “Christmas bells”.
There is also an optional full orchestral accompaniment.

TTBB
Dan Forrest’s compelling SATB arrangement is now available arranged for TTBB with all of the dynamic impact of the original. An orchestral accompaniment is available for purchase separately.

This great monument of praise has brought comfort to countless pilgrims of faith since its first appearance. Fashioned by the arranger to be a gradually building crescendo of worship, this testament to God's provision for our lives is a memorable addition to any service gathering.

Garrett's driving rhythmic setting of William Henry Davies’ text encourages singer and listener alike to “sing out!” their songs of joy. A lyrical middle section provides opportunity for more contemplative expression, then eventually gives way to the return of overflowing joy.

This tender and comforting work is a “passing of peace” as its simple yet elegant melody washes over the listener, gently unfolding its text with increasing texture:
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives; do not be afraid.”
The Hebrew word shalom forms the refrains, and whispers of the word “peace” further paint the spirit and promise of the text. Written as a way to share peace to one another during the Covid-19 pandemic and racial injustices of 2020, this piece is equally at home in worship or concert settings.

A strong, resolute setting of the familiar civil rights “marching song” vividly calls to mind the images which add depth of meaning and emotion to the notes sung. From the distant beginning to the powerful final statement, this arrangement calls us to stand with, and for, all those in the long fight for justice. This TTBB a cappella setting can be sung in any location.

Alfred Burt, the son of an Episcopal minister, was a young jazz musician, who composed fifteen, now legendary, Christmas Carols between 1942 and 1954.
With each Christmas since his early death at the age of 33, the Carols reach a wider and more appreciative audience.
Al Burt's music has gained international acceptance among orchestras, choirs, choral groups, civic organizations, and very ordinary people.
