Description

This ten-page arrangement for piano solo of Elgar's famous military march offers an advanced-level introduction (Allegro con molto fuoco). The first and second statements of the main theme (Largamente), commonly used in processions, are at the moderate level. The third statement of the main theme is grander and also at a moderate level with full chords in both hands, played “molto maestoso.” The Allegro con molto fuoco returns briefly at the end, this time in a simpler arrangement than the beginning.
