Iconic Estonian composer Veljo Tormis celebrates the tradition of “runosongs,” music that has been passed down through generations. These dynamic works use a minimalistic compositional style reminicent of Estonian folksong. Simple in construction and unbelievably dynamic – and often humorous – in sound.
