Burkhardt has skillfully transcribed four classical works that can used during the Advent and Christmas season: Grieg’s Lyriske småstykker, Op. 68; Corelli's Pastorale, the sixth movement of his Concerto Grosso in g minor, Op. 6, No. 8; Handel's “Pifa,” a brief pastorale movement from Messiah; and Saint-Saëns' Prélude from Oratorio de Noël.
