Day Murray Music Recital Hall
Arlette Day Cultural Arts Centre
The Arlette Day Cultural Arts Centre is named after the late Arlette Day who founded Day Murray Music in 1946 with her husband, John Day. Our recital hall features two full-sized grand pianos (a Steinway and a Yamaha) and a Rogers Pipe Organ. The recital hall can comfortably seat 80 people and can accommodate up to 100 people if needed.
We ask that all attendees refrain from consuming or opening food/drink containers in the recital hall. Adjoining the recital hall to the rear is a refreshment room that can be reserved for an additional $15.
Each reservation includes a two-hour reservation for $55.
Each additional hour beyond the two-hour reservation is $20.
The use of the Refreshment Room is available for an additional $15.
If your reservation is after hours, you will need to arrive 15 minutes before closing time for after hours instruction.
(You will be responsible for closing and locking the State Street door when you are finished.)
